Signing the ‘Call’ to Rev Cleopas Takavada
To all members and adherents of East Caithness Church of Scotland in Wick, Argyle Square and Latheron, Dunbeath and Lybster.
The opportunity for you to ‘sign the call’ to your prospective new minister is available until Saturday 20th December. It is customary for the congregation to indicate their intention to support their new minister in any way possible by ‘signing the call’ which will be presented, in this case to Rev Cleopas Takavada on the day of his induction, which looks like being Saturday 24th January 2026
The ’Call’ papers will be in Dunbeath Hall this Sunday, 14th December from 11am during morning worship and on Monday 15th December in Lybster church from 7pm at the Family Carol Concert, to which all are welcome.
You may also sign in Argyle Square Church on Sunday 14th from 11.30am. or on Wednesday mornings, 10th and 17th December at the coffee club from 10am – 12 noon.
